![]() ![]() Once you add the user then you have to make sure you change the users privilege to Read & Write, it defaults to Read. ![]() I added my non-admin user to every file in the sesi folder and to the folder itself. My solution was to locate the SESI folder on OSX Library/Preferences/sesi Add my non-admin user to the Sharing & Permissions list that is found under a right-click/ Get Info for files and folders inside the Finder. ![]() After reading the messages and help I have come to the conclusion that you have to be an Admin user the first time you launch Houdini from a new install on OSX or the license files will not be written. Do I have to manually release the licenses from the old install in order to use the new version of Houdini Apprentice? Or does the License Manager/Installer just handle that automatically?. The old licenses still work, I can launch the old version of Houdini. After I run the installer the new licenses fail. I want to try out the latest daily build so I download the new installer.
